Natalie won First Opera Woman Prize at the Marmande International Singing Competition, as well at two special prizes: the OFQJ prize, and the Michelle Herbé special Jury prize!

She also won the Foreign Young Talent prize at the Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques competition in Montréal in November 2019.

The soprano Natalie Pérez impresses with a powerful voice, and great ease in her phrasing. Her timbre, modulated according to circumstances, is sometimes rounded, sometimes piercing. In the solemn air “See, even night herself is here”, the soprano shows an intimate voice, soft, with elegant phrasing. On the contrary, in the penultimate aria “Now the night is chas’d away” (Purcell), her voice imposes itself perfectly above the orchestra and the five other singers.

New site launch!

After a few years with my old website, I have finally gotten round to freshening it up. A new site now compatible with tablets and smartphones – yes, I know, I should have done that a while ago. Here’s a little explanation as to why this was the right time for this update.
